So getting the pictures off my new, fancy camera isnt exactly easy. They are so big that I dont have a computer that can really handle them. I have tried moving them immediately to either the internet or external storage, but again- it just doesnt seem to work. So for now, you will have to be satisfied with just words!
A week ago Friday, Brent and I went on a Denver stay-cation for the end of his Spring Break. We went to the zoo, out to eat at fun places, and hung with friends. It was a nice break and left me wanting a staycation every weekend!
Last weekend the weather was amazing! Joe was in town visiting and we went on the Coors Brewery Tour which turned out to be kind of boring until the end when they gave us free beer. Brent really enjoyed this part since Joe and I aren't big beer people. We checked out the town of Golden which was initially very cute but upon further review, turned out to have a chip on it's shoulder. Our server at lunch was terrible and there were rough bikers everywhere?!? It's no Estes but it's closer and could be quaint if we ate somewhere new!
I'm up to the same old, same old at work and Brent is really starting to prep for finals. He will be done early May which will be a nice break for him. Matthew is doing well but is still struggling with limitations on his kibbles. This is by far the longest we have kept him on a diet and he's not pleased to say the least. He's a sweet boy though and has taken to snuggling up in between my arm and body when I lay down. (Just imagine it as if I was standing and holding a kid on my hip- it's that but laying down). It's sweet and redeems his screaming for more pets and kibbles.
Hopefully I will have pics to post soon- otherwise I might need to start saving for a new computer so I can share our adventures!
